Does cloud storage mean editors work over a slow link?

No. Clients keep a local working cache and sync deltas rather than whole files, so editors open assets at local-disk speed while the cloud holds the durable copy behind them.

Can we keep some assets on-premise?

Yes. Hybrid setups are common — on-prem storage is treated as one more client of the sync engine, so it stays consistent with the cloud rather than drifting into a stale copy.

How does sync handle two editors touching the same asset?

The sync engine does conflict resolution rather than last-write-wins — delta transfers, offline queues, and explicit reconciliation so a file modified on one client propagates correctly to the others and back.

Can clients review work without an account?

Yes. Delivery portals support expiring share links and watermarking for external reviewers, while internal access stays behind org-level RBAC with audit logging.
