Python Django Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python/FastAPI or Python/Django Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building AI-native platforms, which are powered by agentic AI workflows and open-source LLMs. 

What we are looking for: an individual who is highly motivated, ambitious, strong in communication skills, and extremely good at learning new technologies and implementing them to solve problems. One big advantage of working with us is that you will learn the latest and greatest of AI / ML technologies in the process. You will gain hands-on skills in agentic AI, LLMs, prompting, vector search, knowledge graphs, and more. 

Responsibilities:

• Create scalable REST APIs using FastAPI, Django Rest Framework
• Develop and maintain web applications from concept to deployment.
• Integrate Agentic frameworks, workflows, and LLM prompting and tool calling into the backend stack.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain the platforms on cloud platforms, build CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems.
• Leverage a methodical approach to ‘vibe coding’ using tools like Windsurf, Cursor to speed up your dev process.
• Rapidly pick up new AI architectures and technologies, test them out, and implement them if needed.
• Improve the scalability of our systems - using threads, workers, queues, and async processes.
• Methodically follow through on all tasks, update the Kanban board, and ensure a bug-free codebase.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (mandatory) - with great grades.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Python Backend Developer (mandatory).
• Expert knowledge of the Python language in combination with FastAPI or Django (mandatory). 
• Demonstrated experience with Linux systems is mandatory. You should be highly comfortable and familiar with Linux (mandatory).
• Experience working with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Ability to understand emerging programming paradigms and write clean, commented, and easy-to-understand code.
• Driven, ambitious, motivated. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Should have live projects and a GitHub profile.
